A dilapidated 1960s workshop re-imagined as a high-end, modern corporate head office for United Rentals, a brand-new office facility installed within the existing structure, heritage brick and structural steel retained and celebrated, and a full upgrade of building services throughout.
It was a painstaking process of design, coordination and construction-risk management to deliver on time and within budget, including navigating significant utility challenges along the way. The result is a striking, functional headquarters that honours the character of the original building.
